Fossil Casting at the R.T.M.P.
One of the many trips to the museum for the Palaeo class. The class is making fossil casts which are commonly used in museums. Casts are replaceable, exact copies of the fossil itself that weigh significantly less than the real fossil. After the class has completed the cast they will be painting them and adding a sand/glue matrix around the cast to make the finished product look very realistic.
